If we do not provide proper maintenance for our computers they will start acting sickly (symptoms of slow-down & lockups)  Eventually our computer may not start-up, or die.  Just like colds and the flue our computer can be affected with computer viruses. We must inject the proper medicine into our computer to Kill these viruses. Our Anti-virus software program will root out and destroy the sickness, however we must be using the lastest medicine (i.e virus  definitions) to properly find and eliminate these pesky bugs!

We must eat right on a daily basis to keep our bodies in  shape.  These results can be seen by monitoring our bodies on a weekly basis.  Our computer must be monitored for abnormalities on a weekly basis.  These abnormalities come to us via the internet or disk-transferal in the form of Spyware and Malaware.  Malaware is defined as software that is specifically designed to damage or disrupt our computer system.

Most viruses can live dorminantly on a computer for months until they unleash their venom.  Once released files will be destroyed in a matter of seconds.  Their symptoms are typically that of causing computer slow down or abnormal things taking place on our computer.

Malaware and spyware will provide non-file destroying pesky personalites such as Pop-up windows, etc.  Spyware can monitor what internet sites we visit.  Sometimes they will even gather data from our computer unbeknowenest to us.
